Michael Joseph Brune, 77, formerly of Coolidge, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Sept. 8, 2025.
Jeffrey Sherwood Burnett, age 76 of Littleton MA, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 28th after a long illness.
He was born in Rochester, NY in October 1947 to Janet Burnett (Palmer) and Sherwood "Joe" Burnett.

David Burwell, the co-founder and first president of the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, a Washington-based organization that has led nationwide efforts to convert thousands of miles of unused railroad corridors to trails and parklands, died Feb. 1 at his home in Bethesda, Md. He was 69.

Bruce Thomas Cameron of Brattleboro, Vermont, died at home on March 20, 2007 after a long struggle with lung cancer. Bruce grew up in Hanover, the son of Donald W. Cameron ’35, who worked for many years at the College, and Elizabeth C. Cameron. He attended Hanover schools and entered Dartmouth as a sophomore. Bruce majored in Religion and graduated cum laude. He was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and the Newman Club. After graduation, he received a Fulbright Scholarship to study in Germany and was also awarded a James B.
Robert “Roby” A. Cann, age 78, of Wakefield, passed away on Tuesday, December 2. He lived a life defined by integrity, devotion, and a deep love for family and friends.
Victor Hugo Chaltain died October 29 of a heart attack while clearing the Hanover High School field of rain water before his son’s final football game of the season. John Godfrey Cook Jr, age 70, of Appleton, passed away on May 24th 2017. His last day was spent in Costa Rica, his favorite place. John was born on January 14th, 1947, in Park Forest, IL, to parents John Godfrey Cook Sr and Phyllis Shaffer. He attended Crystal Lake High School. He was a proud graduate of Dartmouth College and obtained his MBA at Loyola University in Chicago.
