Michael Joseph Brune, 77, formerly of Coolidge, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Sept. 8, 2025.
Mr. Brune was born to Patricia and Paul Brune in 1947. He grew up with a strong sense of purpose and integrity that would guide him throughout his life. After graduating from Dartmouth College with a bachelor's degree, he served honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he built a distinguished legal career spanning nearly five decades. As a lawyer specializing in disabilities, elder law, mental health and special needs planning, he dedicated himself to protecting vulnerable individuals and families. He practiced under his own firm, Michael J. Brune, in Coolidge, where his compassion, steady presence and deep commitment to justice earned the trust of many throughout the community.
