  • Nugent, Stephen Kent (8/3/1999)

    DR. STEPHEN NUGENT, 52, Zionsville, a retired pediatric physician, died August 3, 1999.

    Services will be at 10 a.m. Aug. 7 in Zionsville Presbyterian Church.

    Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug 6 in Flanner & Buchanan Zionsville Mortuary.

    Burial will be private.

    Dr. Nugent was director of the Methodist Hospital pediatric intensive care unit, which he founded,for 13 years, retiring in 1993.

    He was a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Society of Critical Care Medicine and Alpha Omega Alpha honorary fraternity.

  • Ochs, Fred (12/31/2015)

    Fred Ochs died on December 31, 2015, in Los Angeles, aged 68. Born in Massachusetts, son of Frederick Walter Ochs, Sr., and Inez Cardinali Ochs. Fred has a vast community of friends and family that will miss him. He is survived by his wife, Leslie Koch Ochs, her three children, his mother in law and a new grandson. He is also survived by an aunt, two sisters, Marianna Estabrooke and Ernestine Reisman, a niece, three nephews and two grand-nieces.

  • Olschan, Michael Neuss (12/5/1991)

    Michael N. Olschan died December 5 as a result of an aneurysm in the carotid artery. At Dartmouth Mike was an active member of Zeta Psi. Although a premed biology major, Mike entered the family business after graduation and eventually formed his own company, Retail Service Associates, distributors of non-food items to stores in New England and along the East Coast. Mike was active in the Dartmouth Club of Bridgeport. He is survived by his parents, his wife, Marjorie, and five children.

    Dr. John Ralph Parkin, 76, of Bagley, MN died peacefully with his beloved wife and his bulldog Gracie by his side on Monday, August 28th, 2023, with a courageous battle of Large B-Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

    Celebration of John's Life Services will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

  • Penney, John Bradbury (1/31/1999)

    Jack Penney died on January 31, 1999, at his home, of a heart attack. He leaves his wife Anne and two children, Jessica and Ellen. He was in the Band at Dartmouth. His home address is given by the College as 20 Chestnut Street, #3, Boston 02108-3602. Phone number is unlisted. According to my Dartmouth database, he was a doctor and had been employed by the Mass General Hospital. The notice from Dartmouth mentions the source of the information as the Boston Globe, February 5, 1999.

  • Pogue, Donald (10/27/2016)

    Donald Carl Pogue of Guilford, CT, died peacefully in his sleep on October 26, 2016. Born May 24, 1947 in Macomb, Illinois, he graduated from Dartmouth College in 1969 and Yale Law School in 1973. He worked as a labor lawyer in Connecticut and proudly represented labor unions for many years before serving as the Connecticut Commissioner of Hospitals and Healthcare and then as a Judge in the CT Superior Court. In 1995 he was appointed as a Judge for the US Court of International Trade where he served as Chief Judge from 2010-2014 and assumed senior status in 2014.
