After a brave and courageous battle with cancer Al peacefully went to be with the Lord on Memorial Day, May 30, 2022. His devoted wife and dedicated daughter were fortunate enough to care for him at home and be by his side when he passed.

Paul Kevin Tuhus, world traveler, gifted raconteur, collector of odd facts and obituaries of even odder individuals, sworn enemy of all vegetables, and fiercely loyal Dartmouth Alum, passed away peacefully in his apartment at Kendal at Hanover on November 25, 2024.

Robert M. Tyler Jr. died September 15, 1993, while on a mountaineering and wildlife-observation trip in British Columbia. At Dartmouth Bob was a member of the Tabard. He received his law degree from George Washington University and served a two-year clerkship at the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Va. In 1975 he joined the firm of Elam and Burke and became a partner in 1980, serving as the senior council of the firm's appellate section.

Ross F. Vasta, distinguished Teaching Professor at the State University of New York at Brockport, died on July 23, 2000 at the age of 52. Ross presented at several ABA conferences, although in recent years, he was more likely to be spotted at SRCD, APA or APS. While he taught behavioral courses at Brockport, he was primarily a developmental psychologist, and that is where most of his research was focused.

John R. Verb of Somerville, NJ, died March 22, 2005. John had resided in New Jersey nearly all his life, born in New Brunswick, raised in Helmetta and lived in Somerville the past 20 years. After graduation, John served in the U.S. Navy as a lieutenant on the ammunition ship USS Nitro AE-23. He received his M.B.A. from Stanford University in 1974. John was a builder who owned and operated Moorehouse Construction Co. in Somerville, and was a member of the Somerville Architectural Review Board.

Paul Vielmetti died on June 24, 2002 in Maine. Rick Willets wrote to Paul’s friend Doug Halsted for the reflection below.
