Dudley,
For the past three years, our class has been ably represented on the Alumni Council by Jim Staros, whose term will be ending on June 30, 2018. The time has now come for selection of Jim’s successor to the Alumni Council for a three year term ending June 30, 2021. For this purpose, our class Executive Committee has designated a nominating committee consisting of our class President (John Mathias), our three Vice-Presidents (R
I doubt that many classmates knew there was a movie about Giff Foley, a classmate who died in July 1990. I certainly did not know it existed. It is a bit less than an hour long. Here is a link.
And now the Phoenix bro NEWS!
Fall events have reconnected me (and therefore us) with Phoenix brothers LIVE and In PERSON! Yes, it's true. I have actually rubbed old achy shoulders and raised a wavering glass or two with brothers in the flesh, and what a great treat for all of us. Many laughs, memories, and catching up.
We received a note thanking us for our 2017 $10,000 gift to SIBS.
Homecoming was a tremendous success. We had a total of 32 attendees, including 23 classmates. Thanks to Rick and Paul for making arrangments.

Roy Hitchings sends a photo of a gathering of '69s in his home town of Camden, Maine, with this comment:
The photo was last summer and the 69ers are from left to right: Peter Imber, Clark Doran, Roy Hitchings, George Cook and Allen Petersen. Allen was visiting but the other 4 have homes here in this beautiful part of the world. Roy
Seven of your Class officers attended the September 15th-16th Class Officers Weekend in Hanover. In addition to the usual college-centric events, COW provides an opportunity to meet with our officer counterparts from other classes, discuss issues and share ideas. We also had an excellent lunch session for the seven of use, where we talked about plans for Homecoming, The Book, Reunion50, and our Class gift.
