Early in the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, Arthur Fergenson (our mini-Reunion Chair) initiated a series of Casual Conversations among classmates. These 2-hour conversations occur roughly monthly using Zoom and are on Sunday afternoons at 3:00 pm ET unless otherwise specified. About 3 weeks before each event, an announcement is posted here on the web site and sent to all classmates for whom we have valid email addresses. If you wish to suggest a topic, suggest a classmate, or lead a discussion yourself - you should contact Arthur Fergenson.

Casual Conversation: Professor Will Masters on September 30, 2024
On Monday, September 30 at 5 pm ET, Professor William (“Will”) Masters will be our guest for a Casual Conversation about food or, more precisely, food economics. This discussion you should not miss. Really. If you want to explore the reasons why you eat what you eat, how much you eat, and what obstacles stand in your way to change your food consumption, this is the time you should join us.
Casual Conversation September 15 with Foster Hirsch
On the Ides of September, i.e., September 15, a Sunday at 3 pm ET, we will be having a Casual Conversation with Foster Hirsch, Professor of Film at Brooklyn College, and board member of the Film Noir Foundation. He is the author most recently of Hollywood and Movies of the Fifties: The Collapse of the Studio System, the Thrill of Cinerama, and the Invasion of the Ultimate Body Snatcher—Television (Knopf 2023).
