Leonidas Demas '69 has written and produced a movie, A Spartan Dream.
An interview with Leonidas is here and opens like this:
"What started as an idea 10 years ago, is now a full-length feature film (“A Spartan Dream”) that is available to rent at home and premiered in theaters across five U.S. cities. We caught up with Leonidas to discuss how he made his dream a reality and what advice he has for other aspiring, older adult filmmakers."
And more about our classmate is here.
"As a septuagenarian, Leonidas Demas decided to embark on a new adventure: filmmaking. After serving as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force and practicing law for 35 years, he took a creative leap later in life, pursuing a career often thought of as a young person’s game. Along with discussing the inspiration behind his first film, he shares why the experience of making it felt like a spiritual homecoming."
