Rick Wallick, 64, of Hancock Street, Plainville, MA, died suddenly while at home April 4, 2011. He was the husband of Jean M. Cummings and the father of Katie M. Wallick. A graduate of Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH, he earned his MBA at Boston College. He was employed as Vice President for Finance & Operations at Wheaton College in Norton, and has served in that position since 1999. Previously he was Assistant Vice President for Finance at Wheaton. Prior to joining the administration of Wheaton, he served as the Assistant to the Executive Vice President at Boston College. Rick was a former president and current board member of the National Consortium for Continuous Improvement in Higher Education. He was currently the chair of the board of The Boston Consortium for Higher Education. Rick was also a board member at Cooperative Productions of North Dighton. In addition to his wife and his daughter he leaves a twin brother, Randy Wallick of Kerhonkson, NY, and a sister Susan J. Wallick of Rockford, IL.
