Mr. Julian Taylor Reeves, 75 of Woodbridge VA, went from labor to his reward on Saturday, October 1, 2022. He was born On May 7, 1947 in Memphis, Tennessee, to Cecil Vivian Reeves and Carolyn Helen Bernice Allen Reeves. He was raised in both Athens, Alabama and Tallahassee, FL.

Julian attended the Florida A& M University Demonstration Elementary School in Tallahassee, FL. He later attended Lincoln High School there until his senior year. Schools were desegregated in 1964. Julian was a track star at Lincoln High School in Tallahassee, FL. He later transferred to Forest Hills High in New York where he graduated in 1965.

Julian attended Dartmouth College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian. He also had a Diploma for the rank of Black Belt from the Jhoon Rhee Institute of Tae Kwon Do.

Julian was married for 21 wonderful years to his loving wife Deborah Ann Reeves, and they were blessed to travel the world and serve the Lord, together. They were the dynamic duo of out-reach, visitation, and benevolence ministry. He was always ready and willing to help someone in need.

Brother Julian Reeves was a faithful, dedicated, and sincere Man of God. He was a teacher, song leader, editor, auto-cross car racer, avid swimmer, tech geek, VBS Director, and friend to many.

Julian worked for many years as a HR Policy Administrator in the VA and DC areas. He worked for many Federal Agencies before he retired from the Federal Government at the Defence Logistics Agency with almost 30 years of service.

Brother Julian is survived by his loving wife Deborah, his daughters Cecelia Reeves and Nicole Henry, his sons KT Henry and Gregory Reeves, nephew Leroy Beasley, grandchildren-Maximilian Alexander Reeves- Chavez, Marco Antonio Reeves-Chavez, Taylor Olivia Reeves-Chavez, Donavan Reeves, King Reeves, Katiana Lavonne Henry and KT Henry IV (grandchildren).

Preceded by his mother Carolyn Helen Bernice Allen Reeves and father Cecil Vivian Reeves, sister Cecily Evelyn Marie Reeves Beasley and his daughter Taylor Layton Reeves.
