’69 Classmates,
Over the last couple of weeks there has been a lot of traffic on the class discussion listserv and on some email threads on which I was copied about a situation at the DOC House that might be called The Mystery of the Disappearing Furniture. If you have not been following this story, here’s a little background:
In recognition of the role he played in turning the dream of a renovated DOC House into a class-sponsored reality, a window has been designated in his honor:
The DOC House project is coming along very nicely and we should be able to use the renovated building for Homecoming 2021. see you there. Meanwhile, here is a gallery of photos showing the steady progress.
Paul Tuhus has been providing about an update a week, usually with great photos. His most recent update came yesterday with 8 photos. Here is a link to the photogallery of the DOC House Project, in chronologic order, mostly annotated. It looks as if we will be able to use it over Homecoming on Octob er 8 and 9.
Paul Tuhus updates us again:
"Progress is noticeably evident with the installation of new windows. Following today’s construction meeting, Andy McLane, our architect, the College’s project manager, and I traveled to Pompanoosuc Mills to work on furniture selection."
